 MESSAGE FROM THE CLUB CHAIRMAN

It gives me great pleasure in welcoming you to Cape Boat and SKI-Boat Club at Millers Point for the 43rd annual October Interclub Invitational Tuna Competition 2011. The ultimate battle in game fishing must be a big yellow fin on 10 kg line, and we pride ourselves with the fact that the South African record has been broken twice in previous  October Comps.

The competition committee, headed by Donald Lassen , has put in many hours to ensure that you all have a memorable experience here at Cape Boat and Ski-boat Club. This year we have also extended the competition to a full week so as to try and get in more fishing time.

This year we have also extended the competition to include the 2011 Yellowfin Free diving Invitational which will include 3 teams of divers participating in the competition.

The big thanks must go to all our sponsors, without which holding such an event would not be possible. Guys please take note of the listed sponsors in this brochure, and support them wherever possible.

A special thanks to all the boat owners and skippers for making their boats available and giving up their valuable time. They represent the backbone of these tournaments and we salute you!

Our club continues to put you, the angler, first and we offer you the very best of hospitality and friendship. It is hoped that you will meet old friends and make new ones, and as anglers help to develop our love for sports fishing.

Should you have any requests or require assistance please do not hesitate to contact any of our committee members listed under the committee

Enjoy the competition, the company and be assured that CBSC will do its best to make you happy, and make our venue your home from home.

Tight Lines and Good luck,

Dave Estment
